It took my boyfriend and I an hour and a half of aggravation to put this cage together. The instructions make no sense and are vague pictures only. It came with several flaws... I needed a hammer to push back a bent part so that the wire floor would go in. Several of the holes to screw in the parts had welded pieces stuck blocking the hole, we were able to get the main body together through force, but one of the legs was so bad that we had to give up on having it on wheels. The tools they provided didn't even fit the screws, so we had to use our own.Once it is together though, it is a nice cage. It is compact, but reasonably large for a rabbit or guinea pig if you take them out to play a lot. The difficulty of putting it together would make me not recommend this product to anyone however. UPDATE: My rabbit hops around in the cage and the plastic tray falls out of place. This is really horrible because then she is loose and I have cats! I had to use bungee... Got this cage for a spare cage while I was on extended travels (4 months). There are a couple of problems that I've run into so far with this cage design.(My rabbit weighs 9 pounds, for information purposes. You might not have the same issues with a 4 pound rabbit.) The cage on the short sides has popped out several times now and I've had to zip-tie it into place to prevent injury. Also, the bottom grate sags pretty seriously and I've had to zip-tie that into place in a couple of spots, as well. The top lifts totally up on hinges from the back to expose the entire cage, which is great... unless your rabbit learns how to head-butt it open and let it slam shut. Don't want to zip-tie this problem because it's handy for getting him out when I need to. The plastic ramp that is included is practically worthless being so slippery and bendable. He just jumps to the shelf with no problem (he is a bit larger, though). The grate is my last... The only feature that I would fault it on, is the way the tray slides in and out. It does not seem to fit really close, and gets off the track very easily.
